A support network for Bereaved Parents. About Bereaved Parent Support. Bereaved Parent Support – April 11. And here it is again. April 11. I dread April 11 every year. Even though Kenneth passed away on April 12, it’s the horrible day of the 11th that brings it all back. How could I not? This day 7 years ago was so traumatic. He went to terribly critical and we sat vigil all day and all night just praying that everything would be ok and that Kenneth would make it through. Death of a child. Loss of a child.

Next day was beautiful and sunny, with a big blue sky. Birthday cake. I didn't bring supplies so we bought a box of cake mix and made icing from melted chocolate. Not the world's most amazing cake but totally fine for the circumstances. However next year I will be more prepared! Cool thistle. Never thought I'd write those words. Glow in the woods.
