Play, Eat, Work, Sleep: The Berge Way: Oh Joy!
http://jsberge.blogspot.com/2011/12/oh-joy.html
Play, Eat, Work, Sleep: The Berge Way. No rhyme or reason, only us. Monday, December 26, 2011. 2 weeks ago, Samuel John was born! T is a great big brother and somehow I love him more even while loving this perfect newborn. John and I have had wonderful help from our parents. I'm ok with the honeymoon lasting for as long as possible. Samuel was born in 12/12/11, sharing a birthday with Ole Tobias Berge (John's grandpa) and is the 12th grandchild on John's side of the family, 2nd on my side.

And Then There Were Three: November 2014
http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
And Then There Were Three. November 13, 2014. The snow has made me so itchy for Christmastime. I'm excited to get the tree out and start decorating. And don't forget Christmas cookies! November 05, 2014. We carved all three pumpkins in about thirty minuets the night before the contest. Not awesome, not terrible. Grace colored some designs on hers with markers so she did actually contribute to the decorating. They all had fun though. Thanks Auntie Rena for the pumpkins! Grace "Elsa the Fairy Princess".

Play, Eat, Work, Sleep: The Berge Way: In the Bright Mid 'Tober
http://jsberge.blogspot.com/2010/10/in-bright-mid-tober.html
Play, Eat, Work, Sleep: The Berge Way. No rhyme or reason, only us. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. In the Bright Mid 'Tober. Have you tried fresh-pressed apple cider in a little paper cup? Oh so good . . . . We joined our church family at the Montgomery Orchard following service last Sunday. Nothing puts me in a thankful mood like a bright, sunny day outside with friends, apples right off the tree, a dirt road off the beaten trail, groves of goldenrod and the combines out in the field. In the Bright Mid Tober.

Play, Eat, Work, Sleep: The Berge Way: Easter Joy
http://jsberge.blogspot.com/2011/04/easter-joy.html
Play, Eat, Work, Sleep: The Berge Way. No rhyme or reason, only us. Saturday, April 30, 2011. Our Easter Day began at church including pancake breakfast and the 1st of two egg hunts. Sara was in the Easter Drama this year, "The Choice for the Executioner". Following church, we had a bunch of friends over for Easter dinner which is a cinch when you've got dual wall ovens (set to delay start), everyone bringing food to share and disposable tableware. Aren't these kids a sweet bunch! Our Old Home Page.

Play, Eat, Work, Sleep: The Berge Way: Civil Engineers?
http://jsberge.blogspot.com/2011/05/civil-engineers.html
Play, Eat, Work, Sleep: The Berge Way. No rhyme or reason, only us. Tuesday, May 03, 2011. Following the intense road drawing and racing, the boys helped me with yard work by gathering my piles of raked grass and dumping it into the yard waste bin. T is still a little short to reach and most of the grass would end up on him or scattered around the bin, but he was having a great time. Its so awesome to have neighbor friends. Our kids would be lost without all of their friends around us. Our Old Home Page.

http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
And Then There Were Three. January 07, 2015. It is still early in January so I can still post some highlights from last year, right? Hold on, it's going to be a quick trip! Cows with winter fur. Bundled against the extreme cold. Niece wins sectional and moves onto state Basketball. Micah and Grace complete one year of AWANA. Packing to move, probably 60% of our stuff. New bikes all around! Swimming at the lake in town. Micah's first time in the pedal tractor pull. My first win at the county fair. Now we ...

Crater corner: Amazing adoption story
http://cratercorner.blogspot.com/2011/01/amazing-adoption-story.html
Friday, January 28, 2011. This man pictured above became my grandfather. His name was John Crater and he was a widower. His wife died in 1911. They had been married 13 years. One child was born to them and died. On October 13, 1920 he picked up the newspaper and read the following headline:. Little John will bring joy to some childless woman.". The article spoke about a little boy named John who was available for adoption. Little John was my father. Let me tell you the story. John Crater made contact wit...

And Then There Were Three: Sporting Endeavors
http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/sporting-endeavors.html
And Then There Were Three. July 26, 2015. Our little kids tried their very first sport this summer. Grace and Micah both played T-ball for our town's summer rec program. Both of them started with zero experience and it was fun to watch them learn how baseball works. It was fun for the kids to have more people cheering for them and I got talk to them. I'm glad they had that opportunity this summer and a little sad that it is already over. We will probably try to get them into it again in the next few ...
