Saturday, July 26, 2008. Our Whirl-wind Summer.Spokane, WA.boating. A highlight and favorite memory of our trip was boating. It was gorgeous and Very Fun! What a treat for the Bates to have lake front property, and an even better treat that they would share it with us! The kids, well all of us, could not wait for Steve to push off and go. Once he did it was all smiles. :). But it did not take long and she was happy with her choice. Way to go Abby! Bry, Caleb and I were next.all smiles :). Making 'smores ...

Sauted onions, garlic and bell pepper. (optional). 3/4 to 1 jar of salsa. Tortillas- -uncooked are best, heated. Or regular flour tortillas. Salsa and guacamole. (also lettuce and tomato). Sunday, January 4, 2009. 1 onion, chopped. 1 can green chiles. Garlic (however much you want). Cook above in crock pot for 3 hours on high. (until you can shred chicken). Add 3 cans beans, whatever kind you like. I do, 1 can black, 1 can pinto beans and 1 can kidney. 1 can tomatoes, diced. 1/2 TBS. cumin. You can do more seasonings if you like it spicier. Thursday, July 31, 2008. Yummy easy spaghetti sauce. This is my favorite spaghetti sauce recipe. It comes from a freezer cookbook called Once a Month Cooking. This makes alot so plan on freezing about half of the recipe. 1 lb Italian sausage. 3/4 cup finely chopped onion. 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste. 3 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce. 2 teaspoons dried basil. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley. Monday, November 10, 2008. 2 large chicken breast cooked(you can use canned chicken if you like you'll need 2 cans). 1 can of pinto beans. 1 can of water after you dump pinto beans. 1 can of corn. 2 cans of rotel. 1/2 cup of rice (uncooked). 1 can of chicken broth.
