Winterthur is about 5 miles from Longwood Gardens and is our new favorite place to visit. It felt like we were walking around Pemberly (see Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice). Monday, August 22, 2011. A certain person in our family recently had a birthday. I'll give you a clue, he's wild, and crazy and the sweetest little boy in the world and the best big brother to his 1 year old little brother. Benny turned 4 on August 14 and we had a classic Hoedown. Cecilia and I were flying from Chicago that day and the party started not long after we got home. Yep, this boy had two birthday cakes. There were cowboys and cowgirls. There was dinner on tin "plates" (aka cheap foil pie pans).

Thursday, June 30, 2011. Enjoying the End of June. I was watching the little kiddos . Joey got the cut under his nose at Chris's party when he fell off the picnic table bench. How the dirt got on his face? The vegetable garden with vegetables planted. We were at our favorite library . With the toys . Smiled and had fun. Lots of books . Tuesday, June 8, 2010. I'm sorry I haven't posted anything on here in a while, but I've been pretty busy even though it is summer. For starters our cat Trixie had four kittens, (one orange one, two black ones and one black and white kitten), a week ago, they are sooo cute! Here are a couple of pictures:. Sunday, May 29, 2011. We headed back to Grandad and G's house that night and yesterday (Saturday) we went to the lake and swam. We have the rest of today and tomorrow left and then it's time to go back home. I will post pictures when we get back. Friday, May 20, 2011. Spring is Ending, Summer's Starting.
