Nick Nick's Blog: The annual 25th of May update.
http://nicknickwins.blogspot.com/2007/05/annual-25th-of-may-update.html
Friday, May 25, 2007. The annual 25th of May update. It's been a while (20 days) since my last post, which is kinda making me feel like this is turning into a MSN type blog which is likely to become abandoned sooner rather than later. sigh. I've had a really shocking last couple of days, I'm so stressed at the moment I just want to go away. I'm at about my limit of tolerance of a few people and think I need to get away to cool down for a bit, which is kind of sad! As per usual Organrecitalday (the new na...

Nick Nick's Blog: August 2007
http://nicknickwins.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 11, 2007. Wow I've been so busy that I managed to neglect my blog for a whole month. Work has been busy but good and I am enjoying many aspects of what I do. Restoring old organs really gives a sense of satisfaction. I'm also loving my routine of getting to work: I get on a bus to Drummoyne at about 7am, I get a coffee there while waiting for my connecting bus to Ermington, and on the bus trip there, I get a chance to read my bible! Anyway, I want coffee. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Pondering Infertility, Part 1 «A Flower of the Field A Flower of the Field

A Flower of the Field. Pondering Infertility, Part 1. Tuesday, Oct 28 2008. I’m going to write about something that has been present now for a while, but I haven’t been sure how I would talk about it or even if I wanted to. Even now, my thoughts are not completely fleshed out, so this is me processing them, to some extent. I may not be able to have my own children. As people from my church will know, around March this year, I was in hospital for a short time. I knew from the start what it was. So when, i...

Nick Nick's Blog: 23rd June
http://nicknickwins.blogspot.com/2007/06/23rd-june.html
Saturday, June 23, 2007. Well, I'm in the gap between my last exam and second meeting for a study camp which I am leading on. If I do get the job and really enjoy it (which I'm fairly confident I would), I would probably stay on. Maybe I would do uni part time in the background after a while? Argh I'm getting my hopes up. I figure that I'll know what's going on by tomorrow evening! After which I'll be going to church to (guess what) praise God! I'm really enjoying lessons! June 27, 2007 at 10:29 AM.

Nick Nick's Blog: Such a busy few weeks!
http://nicknickwins.blogspot.com/2007/06/such-busy-few-weeks.html
Tuesday, June 12, 2007. Such a busy few weeks! I had been intending to write some things here over the last few weeks but just didn't get a chance! Everything has been so busy. Paul Jacobs, a very famous organist from America, has been in Sydney for the last few weeks giving recitals in several venues around the place. Everything he has played has been entirely from memory. I have been most fortunate to meet with him several times and get some great advice on playing and life in general! Yesterday, on he...

Wedding Planner «A Flower of the Field A Flower of the Field
https://girlonfire.wordpress.com/2009/01/25/wedding-planner
A Flower of the Field. Sunday, Jan 25 2009. I’m quite a fan of our wedding planning folder. It has all our to-do lists, budget outlines, spending records, lot of pictur, ideas, etc. I love making lists; writing out everything that needs to be done, knowing it’s all down on paper so I can’t forget, the satisfaction of crossing things off when they are completed. Anytime I have moments of panic about the wedding, I have a flip through the folder and reassure myself that everything is on track. It was reall...

Asking for the Wrong Thing «A Flower of the Field A Flower of the Field
https://girlonfire.wordpress.com/2010/10/06/asking-for-the-wrong-thing
A Flower of the Field. Asking for the Wrong Thing. Wednesday, Oct 6 2010. I was reading Acts 3:1-10. This morning – it’s the story of Peter and John healing the crippled beggar outside the temple courts. When I have read this story in the past, I have usually focused in on the man’s reaction to his healing. He goes away walking and praising God (rightfully so). But this morning I was struck by another aspect of the story. And what strikes me is that perhaps this cripple had been asking for the wrong thin...
