Friday, October 30, 2015. Welcome to F-U-N Friday Part 2. Welcome to F-U-N Friday! Be sure to read the previous post so you know where to find the free file! I found a project on the internet recently for a ribbon/tag blanket toy similar to this. I decided to make one for my little pumpkin using the Jack-o-lantern face from GG designs. Fabric - Thin fabric. Blade depth of 5. Speed of 3 and pressure of 33. And the Tack Down stitching. And then used the placement line only. I would recommend watching this ...

Monday, September 28, 2015. Painted Inspiration - Part II. Now it is time to add the feet! The easiest method for this is to actually copy and paste the file into your saved file. It is OK if the file is too large for your design because you can then resize it to fit in your design. Change the color of the background of the file and then copy the design. And paste it into the original file you have created. Be sure to re-size it to fit into the largest hoop that you have. Then I started painting! The ori...

DesignWorks Lessons: Summer is here!
http://dwlessons.blogspot.com/2016/06/summer-is-here.html
Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Yes, summer is here and it is hard to find time to sew. My life has been super chaotic but I had to take time to prepare a few samples for the "Home Sweet Home" event at the Bernina Sewing Center in Tampa, FL. As part of my presentation, I created a barbecue apron and chef's hat. The design for the barbecue apron came from Bernina's Inspiration Magazine #64. The file for the chef's hat came from the Bernina International site. You can find the link here. June 28, 2016 at 6:24 AM.
