The show was curated by Jay Lizo. Over the years I have always been atracted to the idea of flagpoles. They exist with a marvelous potential for statement. Time & Place. Posted: April 18th, 2014 ˑ : Sculpture. In Detroit reached out and asked for a piece to be included in their show Gun Control 2013. I created an aluminum sign fashioned after the traditional work place sign motivating workers to stay safe on the job by listing how many work days had elapsed since the last injury. My sign arrived with a full set of metal numbers so the time frame could be updated. The title of my piece was “We Need a LAST Time”. 2014 Patrick Melroy. ©.

The Presentation of Artists in Everyday Life. Was curated by Manual History Machines. Dispersed between two locations as Act I and Act II. Act I presented as a Curators Lab Exhibition at Fellows of Contemporary Art (FOCA) in Chinatown, Los Angeles from January 18 - March 21, 2014. Act II took place in the Peggy Phelps Gallery and East Gallery at Claremont Graduate University from January 21 - February 6th, 2014. Both exhibitions feature works by Sarah Awad.
