In childhood I had some really weird ideas about the calamities like Earthquake or flash floods etc.I even used to think about an imaginary sky high tower that would be sufficient to accomodate my family and me in case of any high-end contingency. Now when I have grown up,such kiddish thinking makes me laugh but at the same time it makes me ponder about one of the most crucial facets of human nature-Escapism. Escapism with respect to stakes.

Saturday, April 5, 2008. Tests = No Sweat! It finally happened to me. Any fear of tests I had left is now gone! Gone are the days when I used to be tense, uptight and a downright big pricking arse when it came to tests. Let me tell you how I know. I took the news in my stride, was as dispassionate as things go, and then I wrote the test and came out. Sunday, August 26, 2007. With notices everywhere proclaiming 'Switch Off' in the most attention-seeking way, you can't help but do the very thing that's asked on these posters. Avoiding electricity wastage is probably one of the best ways to reduce the shortfall in electricity generation as compared to the demand, and the 'Switch Off' campaign pursued by the Rotaract Club on campus probably stresses on that.
