I have been swimming 5-6 times a week and swimming strong. It has been a great year, and I hope I have many more ahead. great coaching, hard work and living across the street from the pool all have made me a true competitive swimmer. Here are the highlights of my year:. 3 Went over 250 lap miles at Cornerstone (250.4 miles or 17,628 laps). 50 Free - 127th.

I have been battling bronchitis, and while I have been getting stronger, i was not at 100% for this first meet of the year. Here's how I did:. 50 Free 29.32, which was just off my PR (29.26), although I know I can go under 29. I messed up my flip turn, which cost me. 50 Breast- - 41.21 - a second off my best. Overall, I learned a few lessons and can't complain too much knowing I was not at full strength.

My biggest goal is to continue to swim at Masters, to be enthused, hard-working and receptive to coaching. 1 Qualify for US nationals in at least one event. This may be a long shot, but my best hope is the 50 Free and then the 50 breast. 2 Swim Multiple Events at the New England Championships and score many points for Connecticut. Last year I swan 2 events and 1 relay and only earned points in the relay.
