http://rosemariegarden.blogspot.com/2013/08/front-yard-from-garden-bed-to-grass.html
Friday, August 02, 2013. Front yard: from garden bed to grass . sacre bleu! The front yard is a work in progress. We have 2 different landscape plans and have not decided what we are doing but. we did know that the large garden bed closest to the street would have to be converted to grass. I know . "Make landscape not lawn," right? The beautiful curbside garden in 2006. Once the trees came down the garden grew wild (2012). And let's not forget it's about 15' x 30'! Everything got ripped out (2013). A gar...

Rosemarie's Garden: June 2013
http://rosemariegarden.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 29, 2013. Backyard: the kitchen window garden in June. Using picstitch, I've been able to "stitch" these 2 pictures together to see how the kitchen window garden has grown from May 6th (when it was planted) until today. From what I see, my annuals (white impatiens) have not fared so well, while the rest have clearly been enjoying this rainy June! Odd because I've had success with impatiens in the front flourishing .). Links to this post. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. We could use that. Then on P...

Rosemarie's Garden: May 2013
http://rosemariegarden.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 09, 2013. I used the website Dave's Garden. To research mail order places and felt confident choosing a reputable place - in the end I used 4 different mail order nurseries for 11 shrubs and 1 tree. So how do i feel about mail order? Point blank: If instant gratification is your thing, don't do mail order! Oh my god some of these shrubs were tiny. Almost laughable! Can you spot the tiny viburnums? Monday, May 06, 2013. Backyard garden: kitchen window garden plan and planting. But flopped ov...

Rosemarie's Garden: Spring Clean up time!
http://rosemariegarden.blogspot.com/2014/04/spring-clean-up-time.html
Saturday, April 12, 2014. Spring Clean up time! Welcome to the first blog post of 2014 in my garden and of course it's Spring Clean up time! The snow has finally melted and we had a warm Saturday where we took advantage of cleaning up the front yard. The front yard clean up list:. Cut back ornamental grasses. Cut back beautyberry shrub. Re-place all the flagstone walkway (I do this every couple years as they tend to shift and sink since they are layed in the dirt and not sand). Labels: Front yard gardens.
