Tuesday, January 10, 2006. It was a dark and stormy morning. The spaniels were dripping gently into myslippers. The kettle was boiling for tea. Toast fragranced the kitchen. As I tried to repair my trainers. That Jadie had eaten in the night. I brightened at the thought. That TODAY is Art Class Day. And a painting is waiting to join the world. Monday, May 29, 2006. Kenmare Virtual Tour Updated. I've now added pages on bed and breakfasts, the Ring of Kerry Tour and Hotels (with a booking bit too! Altogether I guess the plan will DOUBLE the size of Kenmare and I wonder what the town will be like then. It could benefit from new amenities but I think the building projects will seriously affect traffic in the town and surroundings. I'll look at the project and report on it. Ooooh I nearly forgot! Wednesday, July 13, 2005. Wow that was weird - but nice birds! My phone went dead . internet too (and I'd paid the bill too! Eircom said I had a phone . yes but it's a mobile. Eircom kept assuring me they'd fix it - but it went dead on Friday evening and the Celtic Tiger that Eircom mantles itself as doesn't work weekends! Saturday, April 30, 2005. Just the other day I was wandering around in a country churchyard (on my own of course .) when I heard this noise - a sort of metallic scratching noise that seemed to come from below me. I did the photos of the new Sheela-na-gig I'd discovered there (someone was obviously regularly visiting her as there were fresh rubbings from the groinal area and fresh flowers beside her. Thursday, May 19, 2005. Sex and the B&B. Something happens to people when they stay at our B&B - not everyone of course but most people obviously are in a holiday mood or are away for a naughty weekend/midweek break. We can always tell them as they don't know what their partner drinks at breakfast! Then there's the effect of room no 1 . it turns quite normal sane looking people into nymphomaniacs and satyrs! In fact it turns them into sex addicts and the rest of the guests seem to get infected by it too!

I was walking my dogs at just after 6 am on Friday morning and I looked up admiring the huge numbers of stars we get over here (in Western Ireland there's practically no pollution at all). Friday, March 17, 2006. Happy St Patrick's Day. Today is the day when we all go out for a jar or six and generally celebrate St Patrick. A few years ago I was in Hong Kong on this day and in an Irish pub was tempted to a few jars of green beer. On visiting the gents .
