At 20 weeks I was diagnosed with a low lying placenta (marginal placenta previa). In most pregnancies as the uterus grows the placenta moves up and away from the cervix. Tuesday, May 4, 2010. I am exactly 37 weeks and 2 days pregnant! Grace is putting pressure on nerves that cause sharp shooting pains to go down my thighs. This only happens occasionally (like every 4 or 5 days) and once it starts to happen it will last an hour or so at most. Saturday, May 22, 2010. Today I am one day shy of 40 weeks! I must say I am very surprised to still be pregnant! I really thought all those abnormally frequent Braxton. Hicks would mean an early labor. And then finding out I was already 3 cm dilated at 38 weeks was just icing on the cake. But, little Gracie is just not ready yet.
