The Nichols Family: 32 Weeks Pregnant
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2010/04/32-weeks-pregnant.html
Friday, April 2, 2010. Well, I'm actually almost 33 now. :D I can not believe how quickly this pregnancy is flying by! I'm still going to the gym! Which leads me to some good news! At 20 weeks I was diagnosed with a low lying placenta (marginal placenta previa). In most pregnancies as the uterus grows the placenta moves up and away from the cervix. The good news is that I had an ultrasound on Tuesday of this week and everything looks good! At 28 weeks I measured 28 weeks, but at my 30 week appointment I ...

The Nichols Family: May 2004
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2004_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 30, 2004. I slept in the morning of our wedding. something I didn't think I'd be able to do, but I was so exhausted! I got up and showered and threw on some pj pants and a t-shirt and headed over to Nana's house for my bridesmaid's luncheon! The hair and make-up ladies met us there and did the bridesmaids hair and make-up for me and those who wanted to have theirs done. It was so much fun! I LOVED my bridesmaid's luncheon! I couldn't believe this was THE DAY! Finally I went down to the front ...

The Nichols Family: August 2004
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2004_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 16, 2004. A Bad day at work. Most of you know this story. The story of August 16, 2004. I thought I would divide this in to two stories: John's account and Amanda's account of the events of that day. At almost 10pm that night my phone rang. It was the call that every army wife fears most. "Mrs. Nichols, this is LT Nelson with the rear detachment. I am calling to inform you that your husband was injured in an ambush in Iraq today.". All I can say about that day is that the Lord is an awesom...

The Nichols Family: Grace- 7 months old!
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2011/01/grace-7-months-old.html
Tuesday, January 4, 2011. Grace- 7 months old! Too much time has gone by, yet again. And a lot has changed with my baby girl! At about the 5 month point we started to have some sleep issues. She started to wake periodically in the middle of the night instead of sleeping until 4 or 5am like she had been. I let this go on (and get gradually worse) until she was 7 months old (last week, lol). I think her sleep issues are (because we haven't completely fixed them yet! She didn't bat an eye! She talks and hol...

The Nichols Family: July 2005
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 30, 2005. John came home from Iraq on June 12, 2005. It was such a wonderful feeling of relief to finally see him back on American soil! I drove out to Kansas about two days before he came back. In April, my friend Kate signed the housing papers for John and I to have a home on post in Kansas. I was able to drive out to Kansas (with Charli. John has "given" me as a wedding present) and move in to our future home. We stayed at the Sandal's Whitehouse. We made the long journey back to Kansas...

The Nichols Family: June 2004
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2004_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 22, 2004. Is just the most wonderful little doggie. In the whole wide world! John wanted to get me an actual Shih. Puppy for a wedding gift, but because of the craziness of him going to Iraq and everything he thought it would be better to wait. So instead he gave me a stuffed puppy dog (which turned out to look surprising. Along with a framed letter telling me he wants me (us) to have a puppy so that I will have something to keep my company while he was gone for the year. Fell in love with ...

The Nichols Family: Toddler Bed
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2010/02/toddler-bed.html
Tuesday, February 23, 2010. It's time to wake up! And we come get him out of the bed. And his naps haven't changed at all. He's still napping about 3 hours (give or take 30 minutes) every day. Here are a few pictures of Caden's last time in his crib and his first night in his big boy bed:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Nichols Family Photo Album. Our YouTube video clips. The Nichols Family: 37 Weeks
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2010/05/37-weeks.html
Tuesday, May 4, 2010. I am exactly 37 weeks and 2 days pregnant! Grace is putting pressure on nerves that cause sharp shooting pains to go down my thighs. This only happens occasionally (like every 4 or 5 days) and once it starts to happen it will last an hour or so at most. She's letting me get pretty good sleep at night these days though, so I'm grateful for that. It's not the most comfortable sleep, but it's at least sleep! I just want her to be healthy and strong. The Nichols Family: 39 Weeks Pregnant
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2010/05/39-weeks-pregnant.html
Saturday, May 22, 2010. Today I am one day shy of 40 weeks! I must say I am very surprised to still be pregnant! I really thought all those abnormally frequent Braxton. Hicks would mean an early labor. And then finding out I was already 3 cm dilated at 38 weeks was just icing on the cake. But, little Gracie is just not ready yet. I went to my 39 week appointment on Tuesday. I was still 3 cm (this time a full three instead of just barely three). My cervix had moved foraward. May 22, 2010 at 3:28 PM. About...
