Personal Experience Story | Jamescbanks's Blog
https://jamescbanks.wordpress.com/2010/03/31/personal-experience-story
March 31, 2010. In light of the fact that I don’t have time to attend the district meetings that were going to constitute the basis of my original idea of a personal experience story for class, I have decided to change my focus a little. I thought that instead of focusing on my hometown and all of its troubles, I’d do something a little more personal (that is the assignment, after all). Disturbing, I know. Posted by Jim Banks. Crunch Time for the Last Time | Jamescbanks's Blog
https://jamescbanks.wordpress.com/2010/04/15/crunch-time-for-the-last-time
Crunch Time for the Last Time. April 15, 2010. When I think about graduation, I get seized by nerves. Not because I think I won’t or I don’t have a job lined up (well maybe the job thing a little). It’s because I have a TON of stuff to do in the next few weeks and the thought of being so close to the end and failing is terrifying. I know if I put my nose to the proverbial grindstone I can do it. I still have a lot of hours to put in. Let’s get started. Posted by Jim Banks. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

The Start of Productivity | Jamescbanks's Blog

The Start of Productivity. April 8, 2010. I made a promise to myself this week. With me nearing the end of the semester and my college career, I said, I am going to everything I can to end my semester of laziness. Yeah, that’s right. I can admit I’ve been pretty lazy this semester. That’s not to say that I’m not doing fairly well in my classes, but I can confidently say that I haven’ t exactly been trying my hardest. Things really hit home for me last night when my wife decided to make a Facebook. Build ...

Officially Almost Kind Of Done | Jamescbanks's Blog

Officially Almost Kind Of Done. May 3, 2010. I’m almost done. Just finished my last actual “assignment” of this semester. All that’s left is a couple of finals and then it’s real-world time. I can’t wait to get a job and be a productive adult. Plus, I got an invitation to head up Manhattan’s local Coffee Party USA. Group, which is a huge deal for me since politics is something that is so close to my heart. Everything seems to be falling in to place. I’m excited. Posted by Jim Banks.

April 30, 2010. It’s the end of the semester. Classes are wrapping up, finals are being studied for and graduation plans are being made. This past Tuesday I finally finished the last day if my internship with the ksu office of sports information. I just wanna say one last time that it was an awesome experience. I’m very grateful for the opportunity and will look back on the job fondly. The people were great and the work was challenging. Fantastic experience. Posted by Jim Banks. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Experiences On A Texas Interstate | Jamescbanks's Blog

Experiences On A Texas Interstate. March 16, 2010. I thought I would publish a quick post about something that happened to me on my way to galveston. As my wife and I were driving down the interstate, we noticed that traffic was pretty heavy. Ahead of us, I began to see what looked like a swerving car. Before I could realize what was going on, the dodge caliber in front of us swerved into the cement guard on the edge of the road and flipped onto its roof. Posted by Jim Banks. April 27, 2010. Just got finished with a huge presentation in Blue Rapids and, at the risk of sounding crass, feels like having a drink. Our presentation was over the Tuttle Creek Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy. I’m freakin’ glad it’s over. Here’s to stress relief. Posted by Jim Banks. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
