My journey to Uganda – Feb to May '13. I received some lovely letters from a few of the girls that I have had the pleasure of living with for the last 3 months. One of them thought I was only going home for a couple of weeks and would be back in time for Term 2. Oh dear. Elitia is from also from Brisbane but has been living here for about 3 yrs or so. I connected with them on Facebook, through my pastor back home, prior to coming to Uganda. My journey to Uganda – Feb to May '13. I have enjoyed spending the last few days exploring Kampala. We pulled up to a Shell. Service station and when we put our order in the lady said they don’t have petrol. I guess I have found a Subway with no bread and a KFC with no chicken in Australia before but it did not take away from the hilarity of the situation. What can be done about such injustice? I guess I will never know all the answers but I definitely want to do my bit in this world. A whole other world.
