BOM Quilter: December 2011
http://fitquilter.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 18, 2011. I can't believe I let so many Sunday's slip by without my weekly post. This time of year I swear the clock moves faster and faster. I really need to learn to plan better. Nothing much to show this week. I did catch up to my Vignette project just in time for the new magazine to arrive. The next step is half of the center. I think I am going to wait for the next issue to come out before starting this one. I think it may be easier to do the center as one piece. It is made from Dea...
BOM Quilter: February 2013
http://fitquilter.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 24, 2013. This weekend I was fortunate enough to have four days off. I sure could get used to that! My friends know that I have to do my work before I play, so on Thursday I did most of. Friday I did more chores, got my hair done and ran more errands. After all that I prepped block three of "It's Raining Cats and Dogs". I am doing this BOM with a local friend and a blogging friend. Here is the block I prepped to stitch. Here are the other two that I have already finished. I also worked o...
Friday Block Party: Kathie's Homeward Bound - Wek 44
http://fridayblockparty.blogspot.com/2011/12/kathies-homeward-bound-wek-44.html
Thursday, December 8, 2011. Kathie's Homeward Bound - Wek 44. I sometimes wonder where blocks get their names. I don't see much to suggest Homeward Bound in this one, but it's a nice block nonetheless. I now have 10 blocks made in the orange/blue/green/pink fabric. Kathie L in Allentown. Labels: 11 week 44. Your block looks great! I often wonder where the names come from too. This one makes no sense to me. How many blocks are you going to make in this colour way? December 9, 2011 at 5:11 AM. Double Wonky...
OKPeri's Place: November 2012
http://okperisplace.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 7, 2012. I guess it is time I showed up again. I know it has been a long time since I have posted and I appreciate those of you who have inquired about Aud and I. Aud turned 96 on October 11, and she is still going strong. Not as strong as before, but she is hanging in. The sight has diminshed in her left eye due to the coumidin (that is not spelled right and I am too lazy to look it up, lol) she has to take. As a result of that energy, I have been getting some quilting done, and fina...
OKPeri's Place: January 2011
http://okperisplace.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 15, 2011. Nag, Nag, Nag. My personal assistant has informed me I have to blog about something, even if it is to state that this blog is under investigation, lol. I have been hiding out during the holidays for one reason or another, but they are past now and I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. And so begins 2011. Aud and I are doing ok. We have survived a rocky beginning to the New Year due to several lovely incidents. So, other than that, "person", how'd you ...
OKPeri's Place: Aud Tale
http://okperisplace.blogspot.com/2012/06/aud-tale.html
Sunday, June 10, 2012. I realize I haven't posted in a good while, I keep intended to and just putting it off. However this one is just too good to pass up. Around this time of night Aud has managed to do all of the sleeping, reading, and playing solitaire that she can do without turning on her television. She probably has watched some tv throughout the day because she keeps assuring me that she can multitask. What in the world are you watching a Spanish station for? I am brushing up on my Spanish! 11 Ju...
OKPeri's Place: March 2011
http://okperisplace.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 31, 2011. A Touch of Spring. The pansies are just beautiful this year and my lilies are getting green, green, green. The daffodils are growing, all of the groundcovers are just beautiful, but the poor tulips.don't think they are going to make it. We are supposed to have 90 degree weather by Sunday! Links to this post. Monday, March 28, 2011. Out of lemons with lemons. I have started X-Rated, the Schnibbles quilt by Miss Rosie. Doesn't look real good, but it sure works well! I was able to ...
OKPeri's Place: Market Baskets
http://okperisplace.blogspot.com/2012/04/market-baskets_16.html
Monday, April 16, 2012. Not making much headway on my baskets. Life has sure been busy the past couple of weeks. However I finally decided what I was going to do about the basket handles. I made "couture" handles for the largest baskets. Think I will keep those and get the appliqué done and put them together before I tackle the next size. And a little deconstruction. Decided I could not stand that color basket handle on all of the smallest baskets, so off with their heads! Youve made so great baskets!
OKPeri's Place: The Saga of The Child House
http://okperisplace.blogspot.com/2012/03/saga-of-child-house.html
Thursday, March 29, 2012. The Saga of The Child House. A monologue to remind me of where our money goes. It makes me faint with angst! This is about The Child House. I named it that because it just keeps taking and taking, and just about the time I think it has "grown up", it comes up with a new request. Then the main waste pipe going out of the house broke (cast iron, this house is 40 years old) and the floor in the master bedroom had to be dug up for about 15 feet and new piping put in. New valves.

Tuesday, August 11, 2015. So, if you hadn't already noticed I've kind of moved on from Blogger. The original reason I got a blogger was so that it could serve as my personal website. A place I could refer people and potential clients to view my work. This blog has served me well, but now I'm moving on to something that makes more sense for me. I don't think I will delete this blog, at least not yet. But I more than likely will not be posting here again. But there are plenty of places to follow me online!
Fight for the Cure | Cancer, how it affects loved ones of the cancer patients, and how I am fighting for the cure.
Fight for the Cure. Cancer, how it affects loved ones of the cancer patients, and how I am fighting for the cure. The Start of the Christmas Season. December 1, 2011. I saw a commercial during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade last Thursday that was about St. Jude’s Cancer research center. It was really touching because it said something like: What these kids want is not something they can unwrap. They want to go home with their moms and dads. They want to be cured. I found another one from The Independ...
