Adventures of an allotment virgin. Asymp; Leave a comment. Driving home from the tip last week (having just dropped off a load of smashed glass and broken cold frames) a song drifted into my head. It was Massive Attack’s version of the soul classic,. Be thankful for what you’ve got. The next day, as I spent a few hours up at the plot preparing the soil, the words seemed especially appropriate.
