Tuesday, February 28, 2006. I have an owey. In a previous post. The last two tests requre blood. Not much, though - just a drop each. The nurse pricked my finger, and waited expectently. Waited. Not much of a bleeder, are you? No, I am not. Call my vessels greedy. So, she squeezed my finger, trying to will a drop to fall. Maybe if you sorta let your hand dangle.". Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Happy, Happy, Joy! Sometimes, I am happy for absolutely no good reason. Or, perhaps, for a simple reason. Or, a series of simple reasons. Monday, October 31, 2005. Utopia begins with "you". I just received an email directed to all graduate students at Canadian universities, inviting us to submit an abstract for an upcoming conference on Utopia. I immediately deleted it. My research has nothing to do with Utopia - that is a "soft" science research topic. My research is based on hard and concrete science. I would like to think that is true. And, at the end of it all, I would like to look back and see that I have tried. Crowns review - MTC.

Friday, June 30, 2006. Lick me, I'm a salty treat! We have this lunch time baseball league happening at the university (3 innings, everyone bats, takes about an hour/hour and a half). I am not the world's greatest athlete, by any stretch. I'm better at the solo sports (running, biking, swimming, etc), and I tend to avoid team sports - in part I think because I am concious of my (lack of) ability. Posted by Allison @ 2:16 PM. Wednesday, November 23, 2005. I have observed the following two work behaviours (doubtless there are many more):. Person A knows exactly when the boss comes in, and so arrives at work five minutes early, every day, so that the boss only knows that Person A comes in "early", but not what time, allowing person A to thus leave early. Tuesday, April 04, 2006. Free Press Story Link. Sorry it took so long to post this link. That I talked about a few posts back. I was sick for a week and it sucked the motivation right out of me. Wednesday, January 25, 2006. I am a social klutz. I never know what to do when you see someone a distance away, that you recognize, walking towards you. Do you stare at them for five minutes? Do you look away, and then pretend to be surprised when you look up and pass them? My tactic: I look up, then I stare at my feet for a bit. I feel awkard.
