After moving out of the hotel, which we called home for about 5 weeks, we had 1 night without any furniture. Luckily Chris' parents let us borrow 2 cots and a blow up mattress so we had something to sleep on without having to borrow beds and things from the Army's Loan closet. Our Army Way of Life. Our adventures and travel as we live in Germany. This past weekend, my mom, Tristan, and I traveled to the St. Louis area to ship my car. What was supposed to be an overnight trip turned into a 5 day trip. Thanks to an impending ice storm, we decided to leave on Friday, instead of Sunday to beat it. Started Friday and it was a uneventful trip.well, until we reached our hotel. I figured you can't go wrong going to a Holiday Inn Express, right? A BRIDGE OVER THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.
