mixin' it up: Marvin Kenneth Malone, 1941 - 2010
http://creevedog.blogspot.com/2010/07/marvin-kenneth-malone-1941-2010.html
Musings on food, family, and faith. And probably some other stuff. Thursday, July 29, 2010. Marvin Kenneth Malone, 1941 - 2010. We said a sad good-bye to Mark's father and the boys' Pepaw this week. He had been sick for a long time and I am comforted to know that he is finally at peace. He passed away on Saturday night with his entire family at his side. I have never experienced anything like that before, and I am so grateful that God granted us that blessing. Good-bye Pops. We will miss you. That is the...

mixin' it up: Yogaworks
http://creevedog.blogspot.com/2010/07/yogaworks.html
Musings on food, family, and faith. And probably some other stuff. Sunday, July 11, 2010. In my pursuit of health and fitness, I have recently taken up Yoga. I keep reading about how good it is for the muscles and how it can help prevent injuries from the other stuff you do and how all these really super-hot people, when asked how they acquired their super-hot status, say "Yoga". Problem #2 - I hate going to the gym and I hate going to "class". 2 Beginner workout. 45 minutes of entry-level Yoga fun&#...

http://www.heiseidemocracy.net/2011/12/05/from-the-archive-the-moe-image
Modern Visual Culture Digest. From the Archive: The Moe Image. December 5, 2011. Does ‘moe’ still have use as a concept, or has increasingly aggressive commodification devalued it to the point of meaninglessness? As 2012 approaches, What are your thoughts on the visual representation of desire in Japanese 2D media? Original post content follows:. In this article I take a look at moe from the perspective of images as opposed to strict character types. I propose that there are four categories of moe images:.

Practicing Intentional Gratitude: February 2007
http://hedwyg.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Feeling grateful for the gifts encountered in my life, one day at a time. Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it. William Arthur Ward. Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Today brings quite a moving post. At the always excellent Waiter Rant. The post is about people in pain, who usually treat those around them poorly. A sample:. Possibly the most moving part for me was Waiter's conclusion:. Posted by Sr. Heather. At 2/28/2007 09:39:00 AM. Tuesday, February 27, 2007.

LIVIN' LA VIDA SUBURBIA: August 2014
http://lavidasuburbia.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
LIVIN' LA VIDA SUBURBIA. Friday, August 08, 2014. 90 Days of Play. I've been thinking a lot lately about. In June, as we neared the end of the school and extracurricular activity year, I asked Stellina if she wanted to continue with tap dance in the fall. This conversation took place in the dance school bathroom as she suited up for her final class. "En. Oh! She said with uncharacteristic fervor. "I thought you liked tap? Then I read this. And a couple weeks later heard this. Not always, but too often, f...

Life on a Back Road: Schoola: My review
http://samsmommy.blogspot.com/2015/04/schoola-my-review.html
Saturday, April 25, 2015. I'm working on getting part 2 of my daybook post finished, but in the meantime I wanted to quickly share a review of Schoola, the used clothing site I mentioned back in February. I've been meaning to post a review for a while, and now is actually the perfect time because they're offering free shipping again for a limited time! Anyway . . . overall I've been pleased with my experience with Schoola. The shipping was pretty fast, too, which is always nice! I was very happy! Has a "...

Our Cross Stitching Home: May 2016
http://ourcrosstitchinghome.blogspot.com/2016_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 26, 2016. A Nice Thursday Cookout. Ok Better than Wednesday, but I wish he. We salvaged the day by loading up and going to the park with hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and cookies- happily all on sale at the IGA with the Memorial Day weekend upon us! On another happy note, my Latin III course was approved by the state for dual-enrollment classes. I am tickled pink about that. My friend Miss Janice will understand the picture posted below. Hope your week has gone well. Sunday, May 22, 2016.

Thursday, June 23, 2016. We are also going all out with Bible school this year, partnering with another Church that isn't having a Bible school. They are helping us so much, and I like to think we are blessing them as well. Everyone is having so much fun getting ready for it. I am continuing to work on a cross stitch project and a couple of crocheting projects. I hope you all are well and surviving this heat! Wednesday, June 1, 2016. What Time Is It?
