Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Christmas eve, Jonathan and his family came over and we had dinner together, played with the kids and then sent them home to get rested up for the big day. It was a great evening. Christmas morning, Cherry and I got up and opened our presents, had some breakfast and then got cleaned up to go over to Jonathan and Nicole's. We got there about 11:00 and the kid were already enjoying all the bounties that Santa had brought. Michael got a remote control truck from Grandma and Grandpa.

Saturday, November 27, 2010. In all of the festivities, we thought also about Chris and how much we appreciated and loved him during the short time that he was with us. Friday, Jonathan, Jared and their families spent a day of shopping, playing, and enjoying each other. The boys took the kids to the air and space museum out at Dulles airport where they all had a great time. Cherry and I had to work in the mission office. We had fourteen new missionaries arrive in two waves Wednesday and Thursday.

Adventure's of Adyson and Brock Van Tassell. Friday, February 7, 2014. Here are the kids. We attended the BYU vs Utah State basketball game at the energy solutions arena. It's the third year we've gone with Adam's Dad(who cheers for BYU while we root for USU), and this year our brother-in-law, Sam joined us. BYU won again. Adventure's of Adyson and Brock Van Tassell. Wednesday, December 25, 2013. A New Bear Story. Adam has had a "bear story" since I met him. It was about when he was 18 and a bear hunting guide, and has always been entertaining. But this summer, he got a new bear story, where he was the actual shooter. He, of course, tells it better in person than I tell it. But here is the gist of the story. It even rolled one bear barrel off. Many people couldn't scare it away from their campsite. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. We Visit Jared and His Family. Jared is busy building a new garage for Heather's car. When the garage is finished, it will connect to the house and there will be a door so that Heather and the girls don't have to go out in the weather. It has a full attic for storage or whatever. Thursday, August 4, 2011. On Sunday morning we got up early and headed out. We had a great trip down with not too much traffice and we met Jared and his family at Captain Frank's a little after noon. We had our obligatory hot dogs and officially started our vacation. Our house was ready so as soon as we finished eating we headed over and moved in. There is always lots of digging at the beach. The pool was great and we used it a lot to cool down from the heat. Cherry, Robin and Katy take a bike ride.
