Tuesday, May 19, 2009. So it has been another 3 weeks since I have posted, but hopefully that will change now. It is kind off. A terrible time to write about sports at least from my perspective. Here are the reasons. 1) The Bulls got bounced by the Celtics. 2) There are no Illinois sports that I want to follow right now. 3) Illinois recruiting is slow because in basketball the 2009 and 2010 classes are full and in Football we only have anywhere from 15-18 scholarships available. 4) Everyone in the NL.

Monday, February 15, 2010. Tale of 2 Illini. A problem that many people thought had been solved, reared its pathetic head again. The problem? Utah - Illinois led 32-16 at halftime! In the first 15 minutes of the second half Illinois was outscored 35-18. Instead of coming out and putting a real bad team away (Utah is 11-13) they let them hang around and then hit a game winning lay-up. (Didn't put them away, terrible start to second half).
