A good laugh and a long run are the two best cures for anything. One Year, Many Pages. 52 Week Blog Challenge. One Year, Many Pages. When I was younger, my mom challenged my brothers and I to read 100 books every summer. It started getting harder as we got older because chapter books replaced our picture books. I was only able to accomplish the task of reading 100 books one time — and that was the summer after second grade. It is a small accomplishment, but I will never forget it! Books 1-3 reviewed here!

Northwest Native: Dog Days: The Story of Tully
http://northwestnativeblog.blogspot.com/2015/08/dog-days-story-of-tully.html
Thursday, August 13, 2015. Dog Days: The Story of Tully. The story of Tully is kind of crazy. It was serendipitous, if you will. Or maybe you could call it 'fate' or 'destiny' if you believe in those things. Maybe it was just a series of coincidences! I mentioned yesterday in the story of Flora. The owner of Soi Dog took them around Phuket. One day on their wanderings, this happened:. Whilst looking around one of the monks came hurrying over and pointed out two tiny puppies laid on a footpath. At fir...

http://www.lifeofmeg.com/2015/07/seattle-portland-any-recommendations.html
July 10, 2015. Seattle Portland - Any Recommendations? We're moving and grooving people! At the end of the summer I will be checking one state off my bucket list and finally get to see the Pacific Northwest coast with my favorite adventure buddy, Adam! For years I have been dying to channel my inner hipster as I melt into the Portland culture, and live out my Seattle adventure dream that started back in my Gray's Anatomy obsession days. And now we've been bitten by the travel bug. So I'd love to ask.

Northwest Native: Dog Days: The Story of Flora
http://northwestnativeblog.blogspot.com/2015/08/dog-days-story-of-flora.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Dog Days: The Story of Flora. I've been meaning to post this since I started blogging over three months ago. Today I'm going to talk about our journey adopting our first pup, Flora! My sister-in-law lived in Thailand for a year and volunteered at a dog rescue there. She and my brother adopted a Thai street dog named Anubis (affectionately referred to as Nubi) from that rescue and he became one of my very favorite dogs. This is me and him a few years ago. Then came the waiting.
