Denos Family: January 2012

Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Who Doesn't Like a Little Reward? I am trying a new reward system for my kids and I thought I would share it, because it was so simple to put together. First: I found a connect-the-dots picture online and printed it on bright paper. I printed a different design and different color for each child. Pick a problem/habit that you want your kids to improve in. Decide how they will improve that behavior in order to get to connect-a-dot. For example we are working on night tim...This ...

Denos Family: May 2010
http://denosdiaries.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 27, 2010. Here are some of the fun things that have happened at the Denos house over the last two weeks. Skylar lost her first tooth! She was so excited to finally lose a tooth! She made sure to let Mom and Dad know where it was and where she would look for her money! I felt so bad because the next morning she came upstairs to wake me up and said, "Mom, I guess the tooth fairy didn't come, because there is no money for me." I said, "Are you sure? Yeah, I looked everywhere.". The girls had t...

The Polynesian Kitchen: Mochiko Chicken
http://polynesiankitchen.blogspot.com/2012/11/mochiko-chicken.html
PR Information (Giveaway/ Review Guidelines). Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Chicken is delicious. It's sort of an island style chicken nugget. It's definitely more of a Japanese/ Hawaiian dish. You can purchase some Mochiko Flour. Or Aloha Soy Sauce. From our online store. Our kids love this chicken. The cornstarch and rice flour make a light batter and the Aloha Soy Sauce (Shoyu). Garlic and sesame seeds make the batter deliciously flavorful! Serve hot over rice or shredded cabbage. O 1/4 cup cornstarch.

Love Drizzle: During Christmas Break
http://lovedrizzle.blogspot.com/2015/01/during-christmas-break.html
The stories of what we do.drizzled with a little love! Tuesday, December 30, 2014. During the break we had some sick kids but we still managed to have a good time. Wendy came from California and we actually saw her several times! Here the kids are playing in our backyard. She even took Ruby and Squish ice skating one night while I was working! We saw Katie and her kids for the tiniest amount of time possible, like 30 minutes-not long enough! But it is actually pretty funny. Here she is with her sidekick.

Hanging With The Kids: June 2013
http://hangingwiththekids.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Me and my kids! Monday, June 24, 2013. We had ourselves a mini vacation a couple of weeks ago. It was Clay's Christmas present. Ironically, we left on his birthday, so it was kind of a double dose gift! We camped in Goblin Valley on a Sunday, and went to Canyonlands National Park Monday "on our way" to Moab. Tuesday was spent at Arches National Park and Wednesday we did a little Arches and then headed home. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The sweetest friend you could ask for.
