The Sunny Life: October 2008
http://livingthesunnylife.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
We refuse to get pets.should I feel guilty? Now, to be fair to us parents let me say that we have tried a few small pets…. Auburn and I were both scared of the crazy giant rabbit and finally had to take it to the Humane Society. Sorry Thumper. Our next brilliant idea was to get the girls fish…how hard can fish be? I figured, how bad can a little gerbil be? Going back to college.at 34. So I had this great idea 1 ½ years ago that I would go back to college and finish my bachelors degree. Mind you,...I̵...

Melina's Gymnastics Winter Wiggle. She was witnessing all the pushups pullups and other exercises they do at class along with climbing the 20' rope (I about had a heartattack the first time I saw Melina climb it.I just knew she was going to fall and break a bone). Floor exercise.it was such a cute routine and Melina worked so hard to get it just right. The vault and the uneven bars.they don't do too much with these yet at her level but she loves the bars. Christmas Vacation in NC. We got lucky and it sno...

The Sunny Life: November 2009
http://livingthesunnylife.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
I went to Atlanta last month to visit my sister, Stephanie. She has 2 girls the same ages as 2 of my girls.so I just took those 2. My other 2 kids thought that was mean of me, but too bad. I loved just having 2 kids to worry about.it was like a vacation for me. The little ones had fun together.when they weren't trying to crawl or walk on each other or hit each other in the face. Marlee aka "The Lip". Here they are again.wet and cold and happy! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Savannah 15 months old. I grew up...

The Sunny Life: June 2009
http://livingthesunnylife.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
I've been calling Rick my mountain man. He went camping/hiking with the boy scouts from church on a 30 mile hike in the mountains. Rick's pack weighed about 50 pounds.impressive huh? He was a little nervous about going. He's not much of a camper and hasn't done anything like that before. He earned his Eagle Scout at 14 years old and never looked back! These are the last two, I promise! We took some cute pics. The girls both swim really well and even Neil can swim pretty good without swimmies on. Here is ...

Neil is the one on the right, on the left is Reagan. His dad is Rick's boss. So they usually sit together and stand by each other in the field. I think Neil is trying to pry the ball out of Reagan's glove here. Here is Neil with Coach Tim. Rick and I laugh because Neil waits forever before he swings the bat. He stands there and stares at the ball with that cute little grin on his face. He likes posing for his mommy! Savannah's 1 year pictures. We all tried to limit the number of kids we brought, so it wo...

The Sunny Life: Christmas Vacation in NC
http://livingthesunnylife.blogspot.com/2010/03/christmas-vacation-in-nc.html
Christmas Vacation in NC. Rick and I decided to spend the majority of our Christmas money on a vacation.instead of toys that our kids would be giving to Goodwill within 6 months. We found a great cabin in Franklin, NC and booked the week of Christmas. We were so excited as were the kids.they quickly agreed to less presents in exchange for a place in the mountains for a week. Here is a waterfall that we went to. You had to go down some concrete stairs and follow a pathway to get there. Which was f...Chris...
