Monday, August 5, 2013. Some people build sand castles… we build sand countries! It started with just a little castle, lake and river…. Then some farm land was smoothed and plotted and a towering mountain grew…. Cities were erected… roads were made… lakes were dug…. Rivers were forged…. Cities build… destroyed… rebuilt again…Until we had ourselves a great nation! We had a most fabulous time at our picnic dinner the other night. We went to the park and ate then we built all that! I Can Teach My Child!

Friday, October 18, 2013. Our time line is growing! We love walking through the hall and getting in a quick review every day just by looking at some of the pictures. I love to see how the biblical and book of Mormon history ties into secular history. We Studied the ancient Olympics and decided that we should have our own Olympics! Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Teigen had to read instructions how to make a marble slide. then he had to answer questions and the fun part… follow the instruction and make his own! I helped cut the tubes and did a little bit of the taping, he told me where to tape. He tried a few different ideas before finding the one he wanted to build. Of course he had to test as each tube was put up. He used about 1/2 a roll of packing tape but it works and is very sturdy! Posted by Katherine Bettilyon.
