Between the Ears blog. Observations, meditations and ruminations! Materialism – Definition. January 9, 2017. The silence of God is a recurring theme in Christian literature and theology. It’s one I’m familiar with even though I don’t profess to have all the answers – actually very few. I often wonder why God seems to have so much to say to some people and so little to others, including me? Are these other people that much more spiritual than me? Is this a film I would recommend? A couple of years ago while cleaning off the dinner table, Paris dropped that little bomb-shell on me. For the life of me, I couldn’t remember him saying the “S” word.
