February 7, 2012. 2 packed cups fresh mint leaves. 1 1/2 cups milk. 1 1/4 cups heavy whipping cream. 1/4 cup jack daniel’s whiskey (optional). 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Good quality dark chocolate, chopped or grated into small pieces (about 12 ounces). Bruise mint leaves with back of large knife. combine mint with milk and cream in saucepan, bring to boil on high. remove from heat and allow mint to steep in liquid for 20 to 30 minutes. 3 1/3 cups cream.

In food processor add flour, salt and butter. process until particles resemble coarse crumbs (about 15 seconds). add cold water through chute with processor running, all at once. process until dough forms a ball, no more than 20 to 30 seconds. shape into ball with hands, chill if necessary for easier handling. 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into 6 pieces. 1/3 cup cold water.
