Sunday, February 02, 2014. Our January, in a nutshell. David finally got some handhelds for the climbing wall! Instead of toys, we bought the boys gift cards to Main Event. We all had fun bowling and playing laser tag. We enjoyed our fireplace more in the last month than we have in the last ten years! We bought (at the Goodwill) and put together another set of bunkbeds, and so we donated the blue car bed to the Boy Scout yardsale. They were a little sad to see it go. Friday, February 22, 2013. Well the boys had another orthodontist check up. Their check ups went well. Poor Kode got worked over a little more than normal. As for Bry his appliance was just tweaked a little. Happy go lucky Kode. A bracket broke right after our last appointment. So during this appointment they glued it back on. Everything was good with Bry. He just has to continue to wear his night gear. He choose to change his bands to orange! So we are good for another 6 more weeks! I guess I could look...

I am so tired of my 'Tuscan' design. I think it's time for a whole new look. I'm thinking I will paint all my black furniture white, and add some beautiful white linens and pretty pastels (just a few). I will probably need Carole's help in finding the beautiful white linens. She's pretty darn good at that stuff.

Friday, November 30, 2012. So my birthday was a couple of days after Thanksgiving. Even though I had to work I still had a great Birthday! The boys took me out for dinner. Where I opened up a gift that they gave me. They bought me a purse, some gloves and some earrings.(I also got a purse from my dad and step-mom, some cloths, a visa gift card and some goodies from my mom and Roger, Peggy gave me some money and lots of birthday wishes from family members. Thursday, May 31, 2012. The outdoor chairs are finished. . . OK so I have had a few people ask about what my out door paito chars look like. Or how did they turn out? So here are some pictures of how the chairs turned out. Before. . . . . . . They were terrible. they were to the point that no one could sit on them cause they were tearing due to the sun beating down on them throughout the summer days. After . . . . So I choose some bright colorful fabric. Now we can go out and enjoy all of our hard work!

Monday, December 31, 2012. Early early Christmas morning we were awakened by thunderstorms. They went on and on for hours. We even opened presents to the sounds of thunder. Very interesting. A first! Then, just as they predicted, the storms turned to snow as the day went on. By noon or so, it was really snowing! By the end of the afternoon we had a couple of inches! The kids went out a few times, but our lack of snow gear made it cold and pretty uncomfortable. They didn't last too long. And, some picture...
