A Painting A Day. So I entered the last two things I’ve painted in the Spring MGAL show, and had high hopes that one of them would be accepted. I wasn’t so sure about the portraits but I felt fairly confident about “Gone Fishin'” getting in. After a while, you start believing that voice. It would have been helpful if there was any feedback at all – except a big “O” for OUT on the cards on the back of my paintings. You look at the other work juried in and wonder, what did they do right that I did wrong?
