Monday, May 2, 2011. I'm fresh from the land of hope. I'm convinced that God sends babies to remind us of that heaven is very near. They come with the scent of heaven and soften our reality. Our beautiful Mema has Alzheimer's and after a visit with her today, I realized the Mema we all love who knows us all by our outward appearance no longer is able to do that. We have to tell her who we are and then she is taken back in time to a place where she remembers.
