Mauer Musings: April 2014
http://mauermusings.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 8, 2014. We just love our smiley Sadie! Here is a little bit about what makes Sadie, Sadie :). Sadie is my pale child. Blonde-ish curly hair, creamy complexion and bright blue eyes! Sadie loves to play peek-a-boo and says "boom" instead of "boo". Sadie has 4 teeth and has gotten a fever with every tooth. Sadie started walking at 9 1/2 months, much earlier than her sister. Sadie only says 4 words: Dada, go, yay and the aforementioned "boom". Happy 1st Birthday Sadie Noreen! Apple of My Eye.

Sunday, December 7, 2014. I have wonderful parents and siblings (on both sides of the family) who rushed to my side, prayed for me, cried with me, served my family and I.and for that I am grateful. I have a precious, loving church family who sent flowers, meals, love and prayers our way. Who genuinely celebrated with us and sincerely grieve with us now. And for this I am grateful. Noah, Jennie and the girls. December 7, 2014 at 3:05 PM. Grieving with you and praying for you. December 7, 2014 at 6:30 PM.

Mauer Musings: April 2015
http://mauermusings.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 14, 2015. She turned 2 a week ago, but I am just now able to get some thoughts down about her. Sadie continues to be a bundle of smiles. Her father pointed out that she almost always has a smirk on her face hiding behind whatever emotion she is trying to portray. She is very coordinated for her age. She has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to dexterity and athletic ability. Also at her 2-year check-up, the doctor was drawing a few simple things to see if Sadie could imitate the...

Mauer Musings: December 2013
http://mauermusings.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Is Anything Too Wonderful For God? Sadie was just laid down for a nap and Liana is happily playing in the tub with her newly opened bath toys. Noah is hanging the curtain hardware that he got me for Christmas. And I am enjoying a few minutes of quiet and reflection. I decided to read the nativity story out of the "Jesus Storybook Bible" that we got Liana for Christmas. My favorite Christmas moment this morning? And it hit me. Well is there? Is a full, healthy life too wonder...

Mauer Musings: January 2014
http://mauermusings.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 7, 2014. It totally snuck up on me, but Sadie has reached 9 months of age. We continue to be delighted by how different she is from Liana (because it's fun to have variety! By what makes up her little personality. Here are some special things about Sadie I'd like to record along the way. She is a fountain of smiles! She is very ticklish, especially when you pinch her squishy thighs. She is adventurous and determined. Thankfully this only happened. Sadie is our resident "stinker" and I do...

Mauer Musings: What's Goin' Down in Mauer Town...
http://mauermusings.blogspot.com/2015/01/whats-goin-down-in-mauer-town.html
Friday, January 23, 2015. What's Goin' Down in Mauer Town. I am still really loving the My Father's World Kindergarten curriculum we are using with Liana. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the literature recommendations to go with each unit. I am able to pre-order everything through our library system's website and pick up a stack of books before we start each new unit. It's great! Everything has been pretty routine besides that and here are a few things we've been giving our time to. Liana's favorite things of late are.
