December 10, 2016. December 10, 2016. Afterwards I took the girls to buy things for shoeboxes to go to children in Mexico in need of Christmas presents. This has been one of our family traditions for awhile now. It is so fun to see what each child picks out for another child. Sunday after church we went to see Santa and they had their pictures taken with him. I am so beyond grateful for the city I live in and the many traditions we. We only let them play once a year, because they can be so competitive!

December 31, 2016. My parents and my sister and her husband were our guests for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We also are allowed to open one present on Christmas Eve of our choice. This has now evolved into two presents because new pajamas are now a new tradition I have started. The kids anxious all night about opening that gift. I am blessed to be a mom of six beautiful daughters. I have learned over the last 10 years that God has a plan bigger and better than mine. I followed HIM into the role as a foster parent.
