Beyond Pink
http://beyondpinkonline.blogspot.com/2008/06/it-has-been-week-since-i-spoke-at.html
Sunday, June 29, 2008. It has been a week since I spoke at the Pickerington, American Cancer Society Relay for Life. What a great event that raised almost 70,000 dollars for the programs sponsored by the ACS. It was so interesting to talk to so many people whose lives were touched by cancer to hear their stories. to see their families. We walked, we ran, we laughed and we cried. I always thought it had to be ten inches, but they now take five inches for hair pieces and such.). I have learned… throu...

Beyond Pink: Comments about the book
http://beyondpinkonline.blogspot.com/2008/06/comments-about-book.html
Sunday, June 15, 2008. Comments about the book. I got a message from someone who had read my book. She bought the book for her mother who had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. She told me that she (herself) “had to read the book because I was so overwhelmed by everything. I didn’t know what to expect or even what questions to ask.”. She thanked me for writing the book saying that she felt more at peace with her mother’s diagnosis and upcoming treatment because she knew what to expect.

Beyond Pink: October 2008
http://beyondpinkonline.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 7, 2008. I went to the Susan G. Komen Committed to The Cure Event this past weekend. It was a really nice event that showcased the Komen grantee programs, that is the programs funded by the Susan G. Komen Foundation. There were so many wonderful programs for mammograms and treatment support that it got me thinking,. 8220;What will happen to all of these programs after the election? Will they be better…or worse…? Beyond Pink: Thrive
http://beyondpinkonline.blogspot.com/2008/11/thrive.html
Tuesday, November 11, 2008. I haven’t updated my blog in a long while. I was never much for consistent journaling. I don’t know why. it is so therapeutic. Even when I was a kid, I would start off strong with a diary and then the pages would be filled with “same as yesterday” “same as yesterday.”. Since I last updated, I have spoken at several events. I will be posting pictures from the most recent in a few weeks. I recently participated in a health fair at The Ohio State University. That sounds so cliché...

I opted for an extremely aggressive treatment including a bilateral mastectomy, chemotherapy and five other surgeries that year. I Didn't Order This Pink Ribbon. Which has been published by Lucky Press, LLC, an Ohio book publisher. Posted by Alice Krumm. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I Didn't Order This Pink Ribbon". Lucky Press, LLC.

Beyond Pink: Who brings the most to the table?
http://beyondpinkonline.blogspot.com/2008/08/who-brings-most-to-table.html
Sunday, August 24, 2008. Who brings the most to the table? I was looking back to see the last time I had posted something and I couldn’t believe that it’s been over a month! I’ve been so busy - So many things are going on – kids going back to school, speaking, developing a new course on survivorship care - and have truly neglected this blog. Let me take a few moments to make amends. So many times we take the time to support a cause that is near and dear to our hearts – as the one in eight, I have t...
