In de jaren '80 had Benidorm een reputatie van het grootste uitgangsleven van de Costa's. Deze reputatie is Benidorm kwijtgespeeld doorheen de jaren. Ondanks dat de stad bekend staat als een oord voor oudere mensen, is het qua uitgangsleven helemaal niet anders dan 20-30 jaar geleden! Dit feest vindt zijn epicentrum in de stad Valencia en is daar uitgegroeid tot één van de grootste feesten ter wereld. Een promotie bracht ons de eerste dag van onze vakantie naar Terra Natura. Het weer wilde niet meewerken, maar we hebben toch een prachtige dag gehad in die zeer mooie dierentuin! Jammer genoeg ligt de datum vast bij een online bestelling en net die dag regende het een hele dag lang. De receptionist echter beurde ons meteen op: Op zulke regenachtige dagen ben je lekker alleen in het park, en dat is toch ook wel leuk! Maar dus echt spectaculaire shows (zoals in Mundomar) zijn er zeker niet in Terra Natura.
