There are always things happening on the farm. On September 28, 2012, Isabella and Elah each gave birth to a baby girl - an hour apart! Grey Cloud is our young herdsire, whose first cria, Mirabai, promises to be only the first of many lovely alpacas he will surely sire. Titus is our multi-award-winning herdsire. He has sired several blue ribbon alpacas. His many offspring have a history of luxurious, beautiful fiber. This is a picture of Avalon with one of her several crias.

I could do without the single digit temps and below zero windchills tho! Thankfully all our animals are warm and safe indoors. During the last weekend of August the town of Asheville holds this event mainly for the locals to relax and have fun after the tourist season is over.
