Moonglow Alpaca Farm

Alpaca owners to alpaca farmers; follow the dream. Monday, August 6, 2012. Thunderstorm brings a blessing. Ah yes, we are in the thick of another hot, sticky summer in the south. We get relief every once in a while, with an afternoon shower or an overnight thunderstorm. One of these thunderstorms, in the middle of July, brought us so much more than the much needed rain. Who could say no to those eyes? I let him hug and lick me, then feed him. Feed him.what? What do I do with a puppy? We haven't had a.

Life in the Carolina Mountains: Flash Back Friday - Lake Lure
http://wncmountainliving.blogspot.com/2015/05/flash-back-friday-lake-lure.html
Friday, May 22, 2015. Flash Back Friday - Lake Lure. From spring 2014 - also processed to look like a watercolor. When I get impatient for spring to arrive I love to drive down about 1000' to Lake Lure from my home. The temperatures are warmer and the plants are further along in spring than at my house. I am taking part in Weekend Reflections. Click on the link and see more great reflection shots. Its nice to have a place like that to go to. I like the editing of this shot, too. Life in the Carolina Mountains: January 2014
http://wncmountainliving.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Hickory Nut Falls in Chimney Rock, NC. It has been a cold wintry month but the snow amount has stayed to a dusting here and there. I could do without the single digit temps and below zero windchills tho! Thankfully all our animals are warm and safe indoors. If you have animals or know of neighbors who do, please make sure they are inside or in a shelter. They can get frostbite too or even die in this kind of cold if they are left outdoors. Be safe and stay warm! Blind Cat Res...

Life in the Carolina Mountains: Flowers from the Yard
http://wncmountainliving.blogspot.com/2015/07/flowers-from-yard.html
Friday, July 10, 2015. Flowers from the Yard. Our yard is full of day lilies, bee balm, and wildflowers. I am always grateful for the previous owners' green thumbs! Without theirs the yard would be pretty bare. Our yearly visitor of a young male turkey is back and comes by to raid the bird feeder. This summer is going by too fast and I have not gotten anything done! Gorgeous flowers and I love the turkey! Lovely post, enjoy your weekend! July 11, 2015 at 4:37 AM. Alasandra, The Cats and Dogs.
