A Great-Wall-Length or Two. Just Plain Out There. I was triply fortunate the morning I left Luang Prabang. First, I managed to wake up early (albeit briefly) to see the monks receive alms. Each morning, they silently shuffle the streets to accept gifts of rice from the townsfolk. I saw two quick waves before returning to bed–they do at as the sun rises before 5:30am.
