Out of my initial ideas there was one design that really stood out for me. To explore the possibilities and limitations of this concept i want to re-draw it, linking in more aspects of my research that i like. Now that i have modeled my speaker and figured out what size i want it to be and how it will hold the speakers, my next step is to model it on computer. Creating the parts and there joining methods so i can manufacture them. The first pieces that i created were the three main pieces that everything will fit into. The holes between the pieces have to be exact so that they line up flush when wooden dowel is put into the holes. The bottom layer of my three will house my PCB and the legs of the speaker. ...

To add to my design i want to add legs and PCBN cover to it. In my design i created 2 slots in the base to fit the legs into. I decided on a rounded cone for these pieces due to the fact that its simple to produce and adds a completely new shape to the design. As the design is very geometric and straight. Although this part wont be seen as much its still good to have this switch up of design. Once i had my geliton piece. This may have interfered with the sound of the speaker if the pieces were to close together. Another part of my product i was happy with is how the speaker reacts to the music player, as with the acrylic top and the gap between the towers, there is enough space to place ipods/phones into, so that when you are using the speaker you can place your music player there.
