The morning began with breakfast in bed prepared by Sydney and Austin with a little help from Mom. Sydney insisted that we make French Toast and also made sure that I did not forget the special birthday plate. They were so excited to take the finished product upstairs on a tray and a candle too! I am trying to figure out what was so magical about turning 6, but I think it was merely circumstance. We decided that we would not tell her and surprise her the day of the trip.
