October 19, 2010. An interesting web 2.0 tool that can be used while teaching is diigo. This website would be very useful because you can consolidate different sources all in one website. Everything from documents to images to bookmarks and personally written notes and more can be on this site.The highlighting and sticky note tools are very interesting and helpful too. They can be just simple built in devices on regular computers, or they can be unique combinations of software. One idea I got from reading Chapter 9 was the use of spreadsheets in Word which I thought could only be made using Excel. This is helpful for teachers to be able to instant message quickly to other teachers when they need help and can also provide instant messaging to students to discuss homework assignements.
