Bibbi Forsman: happy new 2015! with Tamil Nadu kolams
http://bibbiforsman.blogspot.com/2015/01/happy-new-2015-with-tamil-nadu-kolams.html
Wednesday, 7 January 2015. With Tamil Nadu kolams. Best wishes for the new year! Mine started in South India, back here after 12 years. Both me and India have changed, I treasure being here in a new way. The kolam painting stays the same around Pondicherry and Auroville, though. Proud craft by women, every morning a new (but some make shortcuts, like myself, and use paint instead of rice powder). So skillfully made, can't get enough kolams, will post more pics. Old post about kolam. In Göteborg, Sweden.

Bibbi Forsman: koster island sculpture park walk
http://bibbiforsman.blogspot.com/2014/08/koster-island-scupture-park-walk.html
Saturday, 9 August 2014. Koster island sculpture park walk. Koster islands, a summer paradise in the Swedish west coast archipelago. Since two years a sculpture park. Is slowly taking shape on the south island. Starting point for the walk in the woods: Koster gardens. Best café/restaurant on the island. This year Norwegian artist Solveig Egeland built a (to be two) tree cottage in a meadow, still smelling from the newly cut wood and tar in the roof. Ocean Hope, Svalbard, photos:. In Göteborg, Sweden.

Bibbi Forsman: July 2013
http://bibbiforsman.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, 25 July 2013. This is the "before" picture, the change will be total before summer is over, in the remade park space in the Gothenburg neighborhood Hammarkullen. I am into the second week of summer job, along with five young people and a painter in Hammarkullen. We form a little Mosaic Factory for four weeks. In this park there will be a stage platform, and our mosaic work will be put on the side of it. As an interesting coincidence, exactly a year ago I met another artist, Frida Yngström.

Sunday, 24 November 2013. Mosaic project part two. Last week all mosaic was fixed, after we changed location to a parking deck in one of the apartment blocks in Hammarkullen. And next week the benches will be placed close to the two entrances to the park. I am happy, tired and excited. Thankful to all people involved who always say "Yes" and come up with solutions. A totally different cooperative work Fine cell work. That yet again proves the power of making. Sunday, 17 November 2013. Mini break - berlin.
