We spent lots of time with extended family. We learned to better appreciate the people we love in our lives and not take them for granted. I'm getting back to basics and spending more "playtime" with my girls and not get so caught up in what has to be done around the house. Alsowe are gettng serious about the weight loss (both of us).

Monday, November 24, 2008. Saturday morning came with a ray of sunshine. That sunshine being 2 toy poodles and Emma. Pouncing, dancing.wanting to play. I wasn't quite ready for the "sunshine" I'm SO not a morning person and 2 dogs licking me awake is not the most pleasant way to wake up. There are so many ways I've been "woke up". I remember being a little girl and my grandpa scratching me awake with his whiskers and waking up Christmas morning at my grandparents house to the smell of coffee and breakfast.

It was read at her funeral years later. For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
