It provides guidance to people wishing to start a new community group through the maze of administrative and social procedures. We offer fundraising tips, provide you with management tools, recommend contacts and guide you on promoting your new group. This consulting service is absolutely free. The Open Book Library (OBL) is the only specialized documentation center on issues related to sexual diversity in Quebec and one of the largest in French-speaking nations and Canada. With its unique cultural heritage, the OBL plays a crucial role in the preservation and dissemination of Quebec and global LGBT memory. In accordance with our mission, we wish to assist professionals on improving their skills and develop new ones.
