Taco Town: Moment of Happiness
http://harrisonaroni.blogspot.com/2009/10/moment-of-happiness.html
Yesterday morning I awoke for a few minutes in the early morning. I had fallen asleep the night before on my couch while watching TV. I awoke to find my cat sleeping soundly at my side. I can't put into words the feeling of waking up for just a few seconds and feeling the warmth of a sleeping cat next to you. If you've never experienced it you really should. It makes me want a dog. I sometimes fall asleep on the couch with Yuri laying at my feet. I love it! November 24, 2009 at 11:27 AM.

Over the last 2 months I've:. Returned home to KS. It's good to be back. I'm only taking twelve hours (or 4 classes) and it's amazing. I'm actually doing all the assigned readings, and really getting into the classes. I hope I never have to take more than 4 classes again. But in order to do this I'd graduate somewhere around 2020. Not Found a Job. Decided on a Halloween Costume. I'm Luigi and my brother's Mario. Finally, an excuse to buy overalls. Started Writing Satire Pieces for the School Paper.

Tomorrow our mutual friend Lizzy comes to visit. She's flying in and then driving home with us. We are going to the Aquarium, the beach, and maybe the WWII museum. Do you think there's a beach museum somewhere? Or even just a museum located on a beach? I think that'd be a good idea. People would pay money for a museum on a beach. Another brilliant thought I had last week: You know how in cartoons they have those light bulbs turn on above their heads when they get good ideas? Tomorrow is my mom's birthday.

Let's Play "Name the Smell". I live in the basement of my fraternity's building in a 1 bedroom studio. While I value the privacy this provides me, it does come with a few surprising downsides. My job to keep him entertained. I thought the whole allure of having a cat was they would keep themselves busy. Unlike dogs, who crave and require attention, (and permission to use the bathroom) cats seem to have their own agenda most of the time. Unless the food bowl is empty or the litter box runeth. I don't feel...

Wednesday, February 6, 2008. The Most Amazing Thing. Last night, I had the incredible fortune to be involved with one of the largest movements this country has ever seen. I attended the Kansas Democratic caucus, in support of Barack Obama. I have supported Senator Obama in his bid for the Presidential nomination since early last year. However, it has been these last few months at the University of Kansas that has opened my eyes to power of the Obama movement. He has shown a capability to turn out huge nu...

Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Rose-tinted brilliance strikes against the sky,. While cool blue illuminates darkened buses. Golden-burning stars stretch across the black,. While verdant greens drain from the surroundings. As the shades and hues explode in our minds,. Synapses connect and recall blushing memories. Flashing lights and flaring intensity follow,. To the thumping backdrop of life's beat. Warmth seeps from the atmosphere,. So goes the luster of your laughing cheeks. Wednesday, November 21, 2007.

Monday, November 12, 2007. Time for Change. To This Blog. I'm too busy and have put writing off for far too long, so I'm going to convert this blog into an outlet for all my creative writing, not just political thoughts that I don't have time for anymore. So with no further ado, here is the first installment of my new blog. Making love to the absurdist noise,. Crying out in the fading street light. The spectre looms as we sleep,. The sad-eyed posterchild weeping smeared tears. View my complete profile.
