Since the spring of 2012 on the excavation of a nationally important Mesolithic hunter/gatherer site. At Lunt Meadows in Sefton on Merseyside. Details of the site have been kept closely under wraps until the first public announcement by the BBC and national press on 19/11/2012. Finds at the site may change current thinking on the Mesolithic period in early British prehistory.
