Monday, July 7, 2014. Pulling into port at Dubrovnik. Just outside of the old city walls. Looking back on the old city after going up in the cable car. After our descent, we walked around the old city, climbed back down a bunch of stairs, and enjoyed walking the streets of the town. Back in the old town. Monday, September 30, 2013. We quickly began noticing differences around town and felt a bit more culture shock than we did last time we were home. It was strange to be able to understand peoples’ conversations all around us and to realize that everyone else could understand us which meant we needed to speak quieter sometimes. Wednesday, April 23, 2014. At the end of the service, Nikki got baptized. What a beautiful moment to witness! She shared how she came to know Christ and then braved the extremely cold waters of Haeundae Beach with Dan to be baptized. Pure Joy in the Lord! I was fortunate enough to get another hour or so of sleep before going to church mid-morning. My Korean friend and co-worker joined us for the first time and brought one of her daughters, so that made the day extra special as well. Justin and Megan Biehl.
