The Bield, Strontian. Welcome to The Bield. Overlooking Loch Sunart and situated on the rugged slopes that are the foothills of Beinn Resipole, The Bield has one of the most magnificent settings imaginable. The chalet stands in one acre of private and enclosed grounds and commands magnificent views over Loch Sunart and the Morvern hills beyond. Fresh bedlinen and towels are provided and free wireless broadband is available. Bookings for 2016 are now being taken and can be made by clicking on Cottages4You.

The Bield, Strontian. The West Highlands of Scotland is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The scenery is breathtaking and has to be seen to be truly appreciated. Wildlife abounds in the area, including Golden Eagles, Wildcats, Red Deer and Otters, to name but a few. Pine Martens and Roe Deer are often seen in the grounds of The Bield along with a huge variety birds, many of which are remarkably tolerant of human company. The newly fitted kitchen has an electric double fan oven and ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, automatic washer/dryer and ironing facilities.
