Big 50-yr old trying to lose a big 50lb. Rolling back time →. November 6, 2013. I was making decent progress for a while there. But for the past few weeks I’ve been kind of stuck. Still doing all the right things, still counting and biking, but just bouncing up and down in a 3-4 lb range, and my % fat, muscle, etc are very stable. Didn’t work 😉 I came out to the living room for my butt break, hubby asked me to look something up for him online, and 45 min later I was done but too sleepy to go back to the bike. Decided to focus on. 8211; drinking more water and less diet crap. 8211; getting more sleep on a more consistent timetable. Hubby was resistant at first to giving up our stay-up-late weekend nights. Pretty happy way to start 2014: not only did I manage not to gain weight over the holidays, I actually lost a wee bit. So I’m kicking off the new year at just 1 lb over what I weighed 12.5 years ago. For 2014 I have a supportive spouse, an app to help me stay honest with myself about what I’m eating, and my own bike at home so I can rev myself up in any weather. Here we go!
