What in the zebra!: Our winter wonderland
http://whatinthezebra.blogspot.com/2012/01/our-winter-wonderland.html
Monday, January 16, 2012. Cooper stayed at our house this past Friday night. The kids had lots of fun playing and running around crazy. Near the end of the night, Jaxon and Cooper were out in the living room folding and cutting snowflakes. I told them that they could hang up whatever they created on our living room window. That got them so excited that they decided to create a "winter wonderland"! I even got in on the snowflake making. They're very fun and addictive to make.at least for me!

Monday, November 28, 2011. I came home from work today to find this on Jaxon's door. Not exactly sure what prompted the signage, nor did I realize that this kind of stuff started so young! Just a few short minutes after I spotted this, they were back to playing nicely together.just not in Jaxon's room! Thursday, November 17, 2011. http://whatinthezebra.blogspot.com/2012/01/christmas-2011-recap.html
Sunday, January 15, 2012. Yeah, I realize that Christmas is long gone now, but I'm going to share a quick recap anyway! The kids loved every minute of Christmas this year. It's so fun just watching their faces light up with excitement during the holidays. We did our annual trip to the community building to see Santa. Jaxon enjoyed singing is his school's Christmas program. They were pretty cute to watch. The weekend before Christmas, we celebrated with the extended Meller's. Not sure what I was thinking!

What in the zebra!: July 2011
http://whatinthezebra.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 31, 2011. Happy Birthday, Simon! A few weeks ago, we traveled to Richmond to celebrate Simon's first birthday. There was good food, good company, and lots of water play. I think that the slip-n-slide was definitely a hit with ALL of the kids! Here's a video montage of the day. Happy birthday, Simon! I still can't believe that you are a year old already! Over the July 4th holiday, we traveled to Myrtle Beach for a family vacation. We had an awesome time! Reid made his way around the beach too.

What in the zebra!: Growing stuff
http://whatinthezebra.blogspot.com/2012/01/growing-stuff.html
Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Jaxon got a hydro-dome for Christmas from Aunt Emily. It's basically a small garden that uses water to grow in a little dome. He's always excited about nature, science, and growing stuff! He aerates it nightly and ensures that there is sufficient water. Here's what we have grown so far. Supposedly, we should have some lettuce when it's all said and done. We'll see how it goes, or grows I should say! February 3, 2012 at 1:05 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Quote of the day. We need to hurry and get home so I can push out a little marble turd! Yes, those words came out of little Miss Ava! She sure is a funny girl. Photo taken by Aunt Emily). Friday, August 19, 2011. It was actually quite impressive how he stretched this string across the living room! I especially loved the sticky ball holding the string to the window and the water bottle as the anchor over the couch. A few things to note about the video:. And, yes, those would be o...

Saturday, December 10, 2011. Look, look, look.this is how a sheriff sleeps! We have no idea where he learned this or why he thought we needed a lesson on sheriff sleeping while we were eating dinner! That thar is one tough sheriff. I need to teach him how to to raise the brim with one finger and give a clint eastwood snarl. December 12, 2011 at 10:22 AM. From An American Tail, Fievel Goes West! Not really sure, but that is what it made me think of. Love it! December 16, 2011 at 9:22 AM.

Strawberry cake pops with blue chocolate coating and heart sprinkles (can you tell that I LOVE these heart sprinkles right now). These were a request from my nephew Kian.
