Dog in the City. Monday, 1 July 2013. Dogs and Fireworks - Top 5 (Canada Day Edition). Let's face it, dogs and fireworks aren't really a match made in. I don't think I have. More often, I see dogs react in a fearful or submissive manner. Some will bark (at nothing in particular) others will cower and try to find an escape to somewhere quieter, often indoors. Marley doesn't like fireworks, but I do and of course I'd always prefer to have my buddy with me so what to do? Provide your dog a safe/comfortable.
