Bigger than our backyard. Monday, November 25, 2013. Joy comes in the morning (Part 2). You make beautiful things out of the dust. What do I know? A song came up on my playlist this morning that I haven't listened to in a long time. The chorus instantly had me thinking, humbled me and brought me to a place of awe and wonder and curiosity and breathlessness. The words rang out over and over "What do I know of holy, what do I know of wounds that will heal my shame and a God who gave life its name?

I tend to expect the best from myself and in turn expect it from those around me. Fair? How will we change? How will we be able to see things as others see things if we only trust ourselves? Where is our faith? New International Version (NIV). Epilogue: The Wife of Noble Character. A wife of noble character. She is worth far more than rubies.

We always add to it "I am so sorry but God is good and He will be with you." Though it is hard to remember in the hard times that He is good, He is. No explanation needed. He just is - maybe it is just harder to believe because we see so little. Because at least for me my faith is to small to see that. Thursday, October 2, 2014. Grow him in Godly maturity.
